The witty banter between the main characters, Anna and Max, had me hooked right away. And let’s not forget the steamy romance that had me swooning. This book definitely lived up to its title – I fell for my enemy, just like Anna did!
Julia was my favorite character in this book. Her hilarious antics and fearless personality added so much humor to the story. I found myself wishing she was my best friend in real life. And when she joined forces with Anna to take down their mutual enemy, it was pure comedy gold. I couldn’t get enough of these two and their shenanigans.
As someone who has been on a few disastrous dates myself, I could totally relate to the dating disasters that Anna encountered in this book. It’s refreshing to read a romance novel that doesn’t have a perfect love story from beginning to end. The struggles and obstacles that Anna and Max faced made their relationship feel more realistic and relatable. Plus, the chemistry between them was off the charts!

As much as I hate to admit it, falling for my enemy, Claire Kingsley, was necessary. It may seem like a cliche, but sometimes love truly does conquer all. Our initial animosity towards each other was fueled by our competitive nature and our past history of constantly trying to one-up each other. But as we got to know each other on a deeper level, I realized that there was more to Claire than just being my rival.
First and foremost, falling for my enemy allowed me to see her in a different light. Instead of constantly trying to outdo each other, we were able to let our guard down and be vulnerable with one another.
